As an independent limited company, Science Park Kassel is an important pillar of the start-up ecosystem at the University of Kassel. On the one hand, its transfer organisation UniKasselTransfer is located here, but the Management School UNIKIMS is also based here. This makes the centre a contact point and meeting place for all those who want to develop themselves further in cooperation with the university.
As the central transfer organisation, UniKasselTransfer’s task is to actively make the university’s knowledge and competences available to society.

Every year, around 500 young professionals and managers from more than 100 companies, as well as medium-sized enterprises and multinational corporations, take advantage of the courses offered by UNIKIMS, which develops its part-time degree programmes in cooperation with numerous companies.
