The Dépa Forschungskantine is the perfect place for the Science Park start-ups, students and guests to have lunch together.
Here, great emphasis is placed on regionality, seasonality, sustainability, organic farming and discovering new country cuisines. A large network of regional farmers is used for this purpose. The proximity to the university is also reflected in the concept: each semester is planned as a project, so that new things can always be tried out seasonally: from reinterpreting canteen classics to dishes from all over the world.
Susanne Wegerich and her team also offer catering for events.
On selected evenings there are special events and culinary pop-ups, such as “Ramen & Beer”, which is already renowned in Kassel.
